Banky W, a Nigerian musician and politician, has finally issued a severe warning to Samklef.
Samklef previously chastised Banky W for not paying royalties off Wizkid’s Superstar album. He claimed that Banky W and his EME team had defrauded him, and that Banky W had not paid him royalties for 11 years.
Samklef also accused Banky of erasing his name off Wizkid’s Pakurumo song in a video posted to his Instagram page. When his fans requested proof, Samklef grabbed a snapshot of Songview, claiming that Banky had deleted his name and replaced it with Steve Micheal as the composer of Pakurumo, despite the fact that he is the true producer and composer.
“Nigerians make una see o!! Dey took my name off and put Steve Micheal. As a composer for Nakuru. @bankywellington how far now? How did we get to this? Dm me ur email bro. No time to play. Let’s fix things and move on. @sonymusic @sonymusicafrica”

Banky W responded by telling Samklef that he has no commercial dealings with Pakurumo or Wizkid’s Royalties.
Banky claims that he has never had control of the royalties, and Samklef should take this up with the person in charge.
Banky W also told Nigerians that he and EME will never get Wizkid’s royalties for reasons he won’t reveal. He ended by telling Samklef that he was not in command and that he should stop dragging and talking about him.
“@samklef I don’t think you understand that my name is not there and was NEVER there. EME’S name is not there. We have never taken a dime of these royalties and never will. We have never controlled them. You need to take this up with whoever is controlling this and for goodness sake stop talking about me. I’m not the one in charge. I’m minding my business, please handle yours. “
